Hostelling International Membership Information
At the Mississippi Headwaters Hostel we don’t require that our customers become HI members. It does offer you a discount on your overnight fees, however.
We offer membership to our customers to help finance our organization, to offer discounts to our guests, and to help foster community and respect within our greater travel community. HI Members are part of an international network of travelers. Membership is accepted world wide.
Non-profit groups can apply for a free membership. Individual membership is not required to stay at American Hostels, but it is recommended. Furthermore, you will save a couple bucks each time you stay at a hostel – so it pays for itself. In addition to the following benefits:
